Celebrating the Queen's Jubilee with Next

the Queen's Jubilee. let us be real, who doesn't know about this. as i am a die-hard Royal family fan, i have been folllowing all the celebrations and "tributes" to the Queen. one of my favourite is from the British Clothing brand NEXT. see below a really cute video of their children's clothing (you must watch).

What law would you introduce if you were to be the Queen / King? Some brilliant answers

NEXT have also designed (a really patriotic) clothing rage in preparation for the celebrations. it is the British Royal Family that really knows how to throw together a celebration. check out some of the designs (that i most liked) below. i must warn you, be prepared for a whole of Union Jack (and glitter) in your face.

THE GOWN

the beauty of the Ball Gown

a Ball Gown is worn only at the most formal occasions, according to the rules of etiquette. it is traditionally a full-skirted gown reaching at least to the ankles, made of luxurious fabric, delicately and exotically trimmed.

Ball Gown by Alexander McQueen

on the 19 May 2012, the Victoria and Alfred Museum will be hosting one of THE most amazing exhibitions yet. well, for the fashion industry (and history) it will be spectacular, spectacular.

British Glamour since the 1950's will be represented to pay homage to the art of the Ball Gown design by some of Britain's most iconic designers. There will more than 60 glamorous creations worn by royalty, socialites and celebrities. on display there will be breath taking designs by McQueen, Jenny Packham, Giles Deacon and Hussein Chalayan, just to name a few.

the exhibition will come to a close on 6 January 2012. do not miss out.
